Testimonials for Flower Carpet roses
My husband and I purchased our first Flower Carpet Roses in about 1995. I think we purchased about a dozen containers of these delightful plants over the years. The original plantings have been cut back (to about one foot and in some cases to nearly 6 inches) several times through the years. They are so easy care and are still my favorite roses. I will never be able to stop recommending these user-friendly and floriferous beauties. I love their shiny leaves and how they continue to bloom for months.

I planted Flower Carpet Scarlet, fertilized, watered and sat back and watched. I did not have to touch them again and they’re beautiful!

I worked on my roses for a week in March before we got "frosted" again and have to tell you that the Flower Carpets are just superb! All that hype about Drifts, Knockouts and the rest are just that. The only ones that make it through my upsy-daisy seasons and stay disease FREE are the Flower Carpets Plus we've been plagued by rabbits and they love to feed on the roses. The FCs regenerate wonderfully despite that constant nibbling.

Everything about this little rose [FC Pink Supreme] is great. It has buds on it already and we have had very little sun this year. It looks like it will bloom even better than my established roses.

We have many roses and they're not as healthy as the Flower Carpets. Some have powdery mildew or rust, but Flower Carpets have none of these ailments. We’ve had lots of high heat and the Flower Carpets are performing wonderfully! The Flower Carpet Scarlet and Flower Carpet Pink Supremes that I planted in 2007 are now very well established now and have a home forever. Thanks for such healthy and wonderful plants

I have 8 Flower Carpet plants and they are gorgeous – even the deer didn’t eat them! I’d like to replace all of my other rose varieties with the Flower Carpets. They are beautiful, hardy and low maintenance. The Flower Carpet Ambers are healthy and nice looking and the foliage is also nicer than other shrub & tea roses that I have. They are a wonderful rose. They are also very low maintenance which is extremely important to me.

My Flower Carpets are looking much better than my other roses (various varieties). I also fertilized my other roses at the same time and gave them the same (or more) attention than I gave the Flower Carpets . I will definitely add additional Flower Carpets to my collection. An interesting observation--the deer have left the Flower Carpets alone whether planted in the ground or in a pot. They have happily munched my other roses regardless of the type of repellant used-garlic, dogs, screaming gardener, flash tape, blood meal, etc.

My Flower Carpet are blooming and blooming - everything else just bloomed quickly then stopped! I am so surprised at the Flower Carpet roses in general. The Pink Supremes are just covered with blossoms. General size is getting close to 2' x 2'. Amazing...for me - I have roses 5-7 years old that barely come back each season! I’m loving these roses, especially since I do not do much of anything with them...water, cover with mulch during winter and dead head (but not much!)

They grow larger every day and the blooms are absolutely gorgeous, even with the hot Texas sun! I definitely recommend these roses (Flower Carpet Scarlet)

Flower Carpet Scarlet does well in sandy soil, even with the drought and water restrictions in effect.

My Flower Carpet Ambers look great!!!! Tons of flowers, blooming more than any of my other roses, and the foliage is beautiful and lush green. They are beautiful! On a scale of 1-5 with 5 being best, I give them a 5+5!

This Flower Carpet Pink Supreme is very strong and holds up during bad rain and wind. I would have never considered buying a rose, but it was given to me as a gift. I would love to purchase more to line my yard with. Even my neighbors have commented on how beautiful they are

It is mid-July and my other rose bushes are fading and being eaten by bugs. My Flower Carpet Scarlet rose is blooming profusely, leaves are a vibrant green and there is little to no insect damage! This is an excellent, top-notch plant. These plants were very prolific bloomers last summer too.
Annette F. Altamont, New York – Zone 5
My Flower Carpets bloom more than other roses I’m growing. I just love my Flower Carpet Scarlets – they are absolutely tremendous!
L. D. Lucan, Minnesota – Zone 4
My Flower Carpet roses have bloomed better and are bushier than other roses that I’m growing. They have performed better all around and been less stressed by the drought. The Pink Supreme, Scarlet, and Amber have performed much better overall than any of the other roses I have in my garden. Because of back problems I have this summer I was not as up on watering and fertilizing as I usually am. The Flower Carpet roses didn't seem to be bothered by this and continued to bloom well. I particularly like the Flower Carpet Amber – I love the color and it doesn’t seem to be bothered by heat and drought.

I grow a native rugosa--all my other roses (floribundas, tree) have failed in one way or another, except the Flower Carpets.

We also have Knock Outs in our landscape which seem to be very difficult to manage in size. We prune significantly in early Spring but they always seem to overgrow their space. We love the fact that the Flower Carpets fill their space nicely without taking over.

I have several old fashioned roses, and the Flower Carpet roses put them to shame. Everyone who sees my Flower Carpet roses wants to know what kind they are, and where I got them!

Flower Carpet roses
Flower Carpet® roses - also often referred to as The Carpet Rose® are the world's #1 ground cover rose. Once established they can provide up to 2,000 flowers from spring till late autumn and are so easy to care for and have exceptional disease resistance.
Drought and low water tolerance - These roses have a two-tier root system which allows their surface roots to use any available water near the surface and, once established, their tap roots seek out any lower level water in drought conditions.
So what do you have to do? Just plant, give two handfuls of fertiliser and keep well watered the first year.
Pruning? All you need is a pair of garden shears and then cut back, any which way, to a third of the bush size in late winter/early spring and you're done. NO GUESSING, NO WORRYING, NO KIDDING.
Come spring, they burst forth again with their glossy new green foliage ready for the mass of new flowers that begin in late Spring. Flower Carpet...helping make your garden or landscape come alive!
No wonder Flower Carpet ground cover roses have received over 25 Gold and International Rose Awards.
