Festival™ Cordylines
Introduction
Cordyline species are indigenous to Australia, New Zealand and the western Pacific region. They are normally small trees or palm-like evergreen shrubs. The Festival™ cordylines are different. They are basal branching, forming multiple short stems spreading out from the base of the plant to create a sturdy low-growing grass plant, no more than three feet high. The long strappy leaves cascade to create a fountain effect that is highly prized in garden and container plantings. The Festival cordylines are the only basal-branching cordylines on the market today.
The original variety in the Festival™ cordyline series is Festival Burgundy cordyline. A new (and spectacular!) selection, Festival Raspberry cordyline, is planned for release next year.
