Fairy Magnolia - BLUSH. new breeding providing masses of soft pink miniature magnolia blooms

Fairy Magnolias®

Fairy Magnolias. Quick to grow and very easy to manage. Here grown as an espalier - on a lattice so readily used in a courtyard to provide masses of blooms in early spring. All offset by the beautiful rich green evergreen foliage.

Introduction

A startling NEW introduction.  Originally known as Michelia, and now added to the Magnolia family, these Fairy Magnolias™ are outstanding.

The Fairy Magnolias have been selected from new breeding that provides plants that are quick to grow and provide you with flowers from the very first spring. No waiting years for flowering.

Masses of blooms and easy to grow attributes.  No other bush puts out as many flowers as these do with the bush covered in masses of beautiful fairy like magnolia blooms in early spring.  And this bush is not done yet, we have consistently seen spot flowering again during summer and have even seen them again in fall.

These plants provide masses of blooms, are quick growing and fabulous for hedging, screening, espaliering, topiary and massed plantings. They are easy-care and require very little maintenance.

And almost forgot, the bushes have beautiful rich glossy green foliage and keep their foliage year round.  A really great plant.

The Fairy Magnolias™ were bred by renowned New Zealand breeder, Mark Jury who is bring some of the most beautiful new magnolias into the world's gardens.

Those Flower Carpet roses are unbeatable…possibly 'the perfect plant'. No mildew or black spot, no watering once established, bloom all summer and thrive in lousy soil. We’ve used Flower Carpet Red in vacant lots in Yonkers and they’re like Energizer bunnies. No dieback either, even with stiff winds off the Hudson. The Red stays low and spreading while the yellow grows taller and more erect for us. - A.M., New York, USA
